The Bosch GKE18V-40 18V 16 In. Chainsaw delivers the power and performance needed to cut through thick branches, firewood, beams, and rough lumber without the hassle of cords. Equipped with a 16 In. bar for wide cuts and a brushless motor delivering 40.7 ft/s chain speed, it is built for fast, efficient cutting. OptiCut Technology automatically adjusts speed and torque to handle heavier loads smoothly, maintaining consistent performance without interruptions. Get up to 164 cuts per charge with an EXPERT 18V 8 Ah High Power Battery (sold separately) when cutting 4”x4” pressure treated wood. A convenient, easy-to-use tool tension system allows for efficient chain adjustments, while the automatic oiling system helps keep the bar and chain lubricated for smooth, low-maintenance operation. The scrench is conveniently stored on the chainsaw for easy chain fastening and maintenance. The design also includes an opening at the bottom of the battery compartment to help clear out wood chips and dust for easier upkeep. Smart features further support user control, including an electronic motor brake that stops the chain when the trigger is released and a kickback brake that helps stop the chain in the event of sudden tool reaction.
