Description

Armada Technologies Pro290 33 kHz Digital Underground Cable Locator

The Armada Pro290 digital underground cable locator offers a portable solution for locating wires and cables in residential applications. Ideal for contractors and service professionals working with sprinkler systems, landscape lighting, and electrical pet fences, the Pro290 combines straightforward operation with useful locating range. Its transmitter provides 100 mW at 1 kOhm with a 33 kHz output frequency, generating a signal that the handheld receiver wand can detect underground. Null tracking helps the user follow the cable path, while the system can locate signals up to 1,000 Ft from the transmitter and at depths up to 4 Ft underground. The compact carrying case makes the complete kit easy to transport between jobsites, service calls, and residential properties. The kit includes the transmitter, receiver wand, direct-connect leads, ground stake, and carrying case. The transmitter requires eight C alkaline batteries, while the receiver wand requires one 9V battery, supporting convenient cordless field operation. Includes Locator, Case with Transmitter, Receiver Wand, Direct Connect Leads, and Ground Stake.
