This tool has a Makita-built motor with 25000 RPM for faster grinding. Lightweight and compact tool featured with barrel grip and the stepped-neck design, makes it well suitable for working in tight spaces. Slide switch of grinder has a lock-on for added user convenience. The vent slots facilitate to direct exhaust air away from the user. Solid aluminum housing for tool ensures longer endurance in harsh environment. Die grinder featuring Star Protection Computer Controls™, allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time. This Star Protection communication technology also monitors condition while in use to safeguard against over-loading, over-discharging and over-heating. Die grinder has built-in LED protection circuit with over-torque control to safeguard the motor. The round-shaped collet nut aids in minimizing the possibility of damage.
