Types of MEC Products?
Small micro, slim or compact scissor lifts, which are also known as slab scissor lifts; come with the patent-pending Leak Containment System (LCS). As MEC investigated hydraulic oil leaks, they found that the majority of leaks come from the hydraulic motors on the front wheels that are continually stressing the hoses with steering functions. As a result, MEC's entire slab scissor line is a direct electric drive, which reduces oil leaks with the elimination of drive wheels. With the innovation of LCS, operating machines are offered a better solution. Micro Scissor: 1330SE/ MICRO 19/ MICRO Scissors/ MICRO 26. Slim Scissor: 1930SE/ 2632SE. Compact Scissor: 3346SE/ 4046SE/ 4555SE.
Rough terrain scissor lifts are designed for working outside under rugged conditions that require medium reach capabilities. The Speed Level Sigma Lifts provide a platform leveling non-skid metal deck construction. Midsize Rough Terrain Scissor Lifts: 3369ERT/ 3369RT/ 4069ERT/ 4069RT. Large Scissor Lifts: 2684ES/ 3084ES/ 2684RT/ 3084RT/ 6092RT.
Boom lifts provide the greatest height-reaching capabilities. Telescopic boom lifts are popular with rental companies and most often used for multiple story structures, towers, overhead electrical and cable communications work. MEC’s Titan Boom’s provide an oscillating front and rear axles for frame leveling ability. 45-AJ Diesel Boom/ 60-J Diesel Boom/ 60-J Electric Boom/ TITAN BOOM 40-S/ TITAN BOOM 60-S.
Why Buy MEC?
Over the years MEC Aerial Work Platforms has won multiple awards in industry and safety. They pioneered the now widely accepted Proactive Platform Safety System (PPSS) occasionally known as the Pothole protection system. The deployment of the pothole protection system is designed to alert lift operators by warning them of overhead hazards. Continuing with unmatched innovation, MEC announced the Leak Containment System (LCS). MEC introduced some of the industry’s first electric medium and large rough terrain scissor lifts. Their line of equipment includes a variety of MEC aerial work platforms, scissor lifts, telehandlers and telescopic and articulating boom lifts. Each of these AWPs has unique capabilities for different types of jobs.
