The Makita 1 Inch AVT rotary hammer is powered by a 8 Amp motor that delivers up to 2.1 ft-lb impact energy that makes it suitable for most demanding applications. Anti-Vibration Technology has an internal counterbalance system that reduces vibration to great extent. The on-board dust extractor picks up all concrete dust during drilling and can be activated by the tool for operator convenience. The HEPA filtration system in the extractor has capacity to capture up to 99.97% of particulates. The 3-mode switch allows for fast mode change between rotation only and hammering with rotation or chipping only suits multiple applications. Torque limiting clutch is designed to minimize gear damage by automatically disengaging gears if bit binds. The 40 bit angle settings allow bit to be set at different positions based on the application requirement. The variable speed trigger allows user to match the speed to the application. Depth of drilling can be adjusted up to 7-1/2 Inch based on requirement. The ergonomically designed pistol-grip handle is provided with rubberized soft grip so that the user can work for long duration without any fatigue. Retractable hook enables the tool to remain close by but never in the way while working. It includes dust extractor, side handle, depth gauge and tool case. SDS-plus chuck transfers power to the bit and also is easier to swap out bits as needed.
