Customer Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Hard, gloss plastic, not like the two other tapping blocks I have that are a softer with a slight cushion feel. The Crain block transfers the hammer blow pretty directly. The handle is perfect and what the other two lack. My project was not standard tongue & grove lumber flooring for which the notch along a long edge and a short edge is the right fit. I was using 1/2 engineered wood with a different configuration of notch, i.e., the Crain did not fit. So I stuck thin 1/8" plastic bumpers cut to fit the top surface edge. They gave the dimension that I needed, and all worked well. The knurled handle proved to be the right touch to make grabbing the block easy.
