Ridgid Vacuum Filters
RIDGID® vacuum filters are part of the line of Ridgid vacuums that are known for their rugged construction, mobility and versatility. The filters are interchangeable with all Ridgid shop vacuums that have 6-, 12-, 14- and 16-gallon capacity.
The filters trap different sizes of dry matter in the shop vac's dust-containment housing. One line of Ridgid paper filters cleans the typical garage or basement dirt that accumulates over time, as well as wood chips or shavings that fly off power tools. The other line cleans fine particles of 1 micron in diameter or larger, including dust from wood-cutting, drywall or masonry work. The other line includes HEPA filters that trap 99.7 percent of particulates that are 0.3 microns or larger in diameter, including pollen, dander and furnace filter debris.
All Ridgid vacuum filters have a pleated construction to trap more of what they are supposed to. They are also layered for containing the specific types of debris. The paper filters have either 1 or 3 layers. The 3-layer models are double-pleated. The Ridgid HEPA filters have 5 anti-allergen layers. Each model is a canister-style filter that fits into the dry-containment area of Ridgid's wet/dry shop vacs. All of them have a patented Qwik Lock top that fastens them into the housing quickly and securely. All of them are washable and reusable. The filters are part of the broad line of Ridgid vacuums that also include several Ridgid vacuum attachments, including accessories for detailing cars, in addition to the basement, garage, shop and jobsite clean up
No matter what mess you make, wet or dry, Ridgid has the right machine to get it cleaned up quickly and thoroughly. The 3 lines of Ridgid vacuum filters provide the right combination for the dry stuff. Because they are washable and reusable and interchangeable with all large-gallon Ridgid vacuums, you should look into having each one on hand.
