Powermatic Dust Collectors
Whether you work with Powermatic mortisers or other large machines, you can quickly clear the air with industrial-quality dust extraction systems. These machines have standard 4-inch dust ports that connect to hoses when you need to reach across the shop. The hoses connect to similar ports on your industrial equipment, which forces dust away from your work surfaces while you cut. Air filtration makes a significant impact on the air quality surrounding Powermatic sanders as well. These machines often kick up high levels of dust, and dust extraction systems minimize the presence of airborne particles.
TurboCone® technology helps many of these machines quickly and efficiently filter particles out of the air. This Powermatic dust collector system automatically separates large debris from small particles, so filters last longer without replacement. It also helps maintain airflow. Because the cone blocks large dust particles, the filter has more available surface space to collect dust particles as fine as 30 microns. These Powermatic dust collectors also rely on extra-large bags. Some have 10 cubic feet of volume, so they don't require frequent changes. You can roll these machines for closer access to Powermatic saws and other heavy equipment, too. Most of these units have casters on their bases that enable rapid movement around the shop.
Inside these industrial dust collectors, powerful motors constantly pull air through the machines. Some of them have digital timers with remote controls as well. These dust collector accessories enable automatic functionality for up to 99 minutes. These timers also allow for automatic shutoff. They continue to filter the air even after you step out of the shop. Whether you work at home or in a professional wood shop, you can rely on Powermatic dust collectors to efficiently filter particles from the air.
