This Makita 36 Volt LXT® couple shaft power head kit includes string trimmer couple shaft attachment, 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion dual port charger and two 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion 5.0 Amp-hour battery. Couple shaft power head is a great cordless alternative to gas-powered outdoor power equipment and is a welcome solution for a range of trimming and cutting applications. Power head is perfect for landscapers and contractors for most demanding applications. Head has powerful BL™ brushless motor to deliver up to 7100 RPM for faster cutting. It offers 3-speed options that are 4200 RPM (low), 6000 RPM (medium) and 7100 RPM (high) for power management. Power head works well with a variety of Makita couple shaft attachments for various applications. The lever style lock system assists for rapid tool-less installation and replacement of attachments. Reverse (clockwise) rotation system of power head facilitates operator to clear brush cutter head of entangled grass and weeds quickly. Power head has Makita's Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™), a protective seal inside the tool.
