Its four pole motor has 170 foot-pounds of torque for high strength. You'll get up to 2,100 rpm and 3,200 ipm with the Makita cordless impact wrench to save you time on the job. Constructed from top quality steel and raw materials the impact mechanism of the hammer and anvil offer superior strength. There's a 1/2 inch square drive to fit socket sets that are impact-rated. The 18V cordless impact wrench is ergonomically designed (6-1/2 inches and 3.8 pounds with battery) with a soft rubber grip for comfort and an easy fit. Powered by Makita 18V batteries, the Lithium-ion cordless impact wrench includes STAR Protection Computer Controls™ to prevent overheating. The Rapid Optimum Charger cools battery during charging, optimizes battery life and quickly recharges batteries (batteries and chargers sold separately). An embedded L.E.D. light makes the square drive impact wrench safe for use in the dark.
