The Makita planer is ideal for construction framing, window or door installation and fine woodworking applications. Compact and lightweight design of the planer makes it easy to use and ensures more cutting capacity. It contains a two-blade cutter head and is powered by a 7.5 Amp that operates at a speed of 16,000 RPM. Planer blades are made from high speed steel that has the capacity to plane up to 4-3/8 Inch wide and 1/16 Inch deep in just a single pass. Ball bearing design ensures longevity of the planer and the precise aluminum base delivers accurate results. Front and rear grips are aligned at centerline for better operational control. The lock-on button prevents accidental initiation and ensures continuous operation. Double insulated design offers good user safety. V-groove design on the front shoe facilitates smooth chamfer cutting. Planer comes with a planer blade, blade gauge, guide rule, a sharpening holder and a socket wrench.
