First, release the body from the head of the string trimmer, or more commonly known as a weed eater. Remove the spool and any excess string left over. Measure out between 10 and 15 feet of line. Then, hold the two ends of the line with one hand while with your other, find the middle point of the line and fold in half. Hold the spool in one hand, take the middle loop point, and lock hook of the slot in the spool. At this point begin rotating the spool to wrap your line around it. When you’re nearly finished, more so when you have only about 1 foot of line to go, insert the leftover line in the notches found on the outside of the spool. The last step involved inserting your spool back into the body, putting the line into the metal openings, and then reattaching the body to the head of your Husqvarna string trimmer.
