The FatMax™ tape rule has a 1-1/4 In. blade width and 16 Ft. blade length. The first 6 In. of the FatMax™ tape rule is coated with the patented BladeArmor™ industrial thermoplastic coating for maximum durability and reduced blade breakage. BladeArmor™ reinforces the tape rule and allows 11 Ft. of blade stand out. The 1-1/4 In. wide blade is 25% wider making it easier to read the graphics. The top forward blade lock makes it easier to lock and unlock the blade. The exclusive cushion grip is built into the case for a comfortable slip-resistant grip and impact resistance. Specially designed so the hook grabs on the side, top or bottom. Strong spring for smooth retraction. Stainless steel wear plate protects case from being cut by the blade.
