The Compact Router features a 1-1/4 peak HP motor that boasts more power than traditional palm routers and motor electronics that maintain the unit’s speed even under loads of heavy material removal. The motor also promotes soft start which reduces twist, thus enabling better control and precision. A low, contoured gripping surface lowers the center of gravity for advanced control and comfort compared to other trimmers and routers. The ergonomic design allows the woodworker to physically guide the material along the edge, if desired, for exceptional accuracy, and flared base arches also offer an easy reference point for the hand.
