Customer Reviews
Rated 1 out of 5 by from WORX-WG788 I bought WG788 mower about 2.5 years ago and it ran fine, now it runs weak. After the battery charge and grass cut start up, it would not last long and strong, I would say it runs no more than 5 to 7 minutes then weakens. Do not know exactly if it is a battery issue or some electrical component (transistor or such) that causes weak motor power. My incomplete troubleshooting: 1. I did inspect and clean electrical motor, all was normal. 2. I have RED light on the charger cable that never goes OFF during battery charge, and this actually might be battery issue. 4. Also, after a long battery charge, I checked the Voltage at battery terminals and it showed 37.35 Volts. 5. Then, after cutting the grass and wait till mower start to cut weak, I checked battery voltage, it was solid 37V. So, here I stopped to get a second opinion from people who might know the real issue with these movers. 6. In conclusion, while this mower is "organic" (no fumes, oils, filters, spark plugs, carburetor adjustments, or pulling cord) it somewhat heavy to push with 36V battery in it. Thanks for reading.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything and more! I previously owned a cordless lawn mower from a different manufacturer, but gave it to my son when I purchased the WORX 36V with IntelliCut. I particularly liked how it was self propelled based on my walking gait, but what surprised me the most was how long the charge would last. I had a front yard of about 1,000 SF that I would mow weekly and the charge would last longer than a month. No problems whatsoever. I eventually moved out of State and gave this unit to my son and went ahead and purchased another one of the same model. I am very satisfied with the WORX product that I went out and purchased an Aerocart.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Lawn Mower!! I bought this Lawn Mower three years ago to replace my electric mower. I could not be happier. No more extension cord, and the battery holds a charge for over two weeks.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very Light and powerful when works!! I have two units, I love this mowers, the problem is that the battery dies and don't hold the charge anymore, I have this units for over 3 years and now I have to buy two new batteries. I am very disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I brought this lawn mower about 5 years ago and it runs very well. I need to replace the blade now this is the first time I have had to do anything to it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from the right idea but... This is my second season with this mower. I assume if you're reading this you're aware of the benefits of cordless so I won't go into detail of why I like this mower but rather concentrate on the frustrations. It's really all about the battery, what I didn't realize is that this mower uses what I assume is a lead-acid battery which is like the one in your car only about half the size. Even at a reduced size it is very heavy and worst of all for me needs somewhere close to a full 24hrs to charge meaning that if it runs out you'll not be doing any more mowing for at least a day which for working people generally means a week... Just about every competitive mower uses Lithium batteries like you'll find on cordless drills etc. These batteries are smaller, lighter and generally charge up in less that an hour meaning that if you run it down you can put it in charge, take a break and still finish up on the same day or less. My star ratings are affected by the choice of battery technology which I have to say was not clear at the time of ordering and who wants to get into returning something of this size and weight that was ordered online?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Battery is worthless. I just bought this (had it one week), and with the first use, the battery, fully charged 'made it' about 1.5 hours. Second time, less than 30 minutes! Soooo disappointed. On a side note, if important to you, this mower is not self-propelled.
