When you work with or near sensitive and combustible materials, the Wilton® 2-1/2-Pound Head, 12-inch B.A.S.H® Brass Hammer and its nonmarring and non-sparking head help keep you and your materials safe. Designed for impact absorption, the brass head assists in reducing injuries and fatigue. The Wilton B.A.S.H. sledge hammer features a safety plate as well, which securely holds the handle and head together, so the head doesn't come off when you strike a surface. Made from vulcanized rubber, the handle features a steel core; this patented Unbreakable® Handle Technology prevents it from breaking during use. The rubber handle on the brass sledge hammer offers a secure, non-slip grip. It's also ergonomically shaped, which increases your comfort while limiting the vibration you feel. To ensure the hammer lasts a long time and holds up to many tasks, the brass face is replaceable.
