Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wouldn't consider another brand I only got to use this machine for one snowfall, but it exceeded my expectations on several items. It throws snow much further, handles wet snow pretty well, and starts much easier. I have 3 other single stage Toro's, the oldest being a S200, a 16" gas but can't remember the model #, an a fairly recent electric model. All those have given pretty good service so I bought a little larger, i.e. one this survey is about.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Snowblower!! Glad I purchased it. I purchased my Toro 721 QZE last winter. I have used the blower all of last winter and a few storms this winter. This is my first single stag snow blower. Wasn't to thrilled with prior models until the 721 QZE came out. What drew me to the blower was the 4 cycle engine and the slide chute control. I have a Toro power shift 1028, which I call "The Beast" that will blow a tremendous amount of snow, but for just a few inches it was becoming a beast to maneuver around. The first time I used the 721 QZE was with 5" of snow I absolutely love it. There was plenty of power. Maneuverability was excellent. Blew snow almost as far as my 1028. Started on the first pull. Definite time saver. I have been a Toro fan for a long time. So glad they came out with the 721 QZE. Also, my wife has no problems using the 712 QZE. From starting it to blowing snow with it, not a problem.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Had, electric start I do not have the strength in my arm to pull start a snow blower. I HAVE to have electric start. The electric start worked for about one 1/2 seasons. Doesn't work anymore. Why? Good question. Just in time for warranty to end. Hubby rebuilt paddles or scrapers already too. This is 3rd season. He was using it today, it was falling apart as he used it. The shoot director fell off. Definitely REALLY Not as well made as the one we gave away (because we bought this NEW ONE, WITH FANCY ELECTRIC START.(that doesn't work anymore) Now, if my hubby is out of town I have to pray there's a neighbor home to call to start my snow blower so I can clear my drive and my 83 yr old neighbors. For the money I paid for this, machine very disappointed in its craftsmanship, quality, definitely not for heavy use like we get in the Chicago area.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best of the Best Couldn't be happier. Have tried others but this is the best. No need for a self propelled blower.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product.... Poor Factory Packaging I previously owned a Toro CCR3000E 2 cycle single stage blower which I bought used at a pawn shop. With the usual maintenance such as paddles and an occasional carb cleanup, it worked great!. I have given that blower to my son and expect it to last even longer. I purchased this blower as a replacement. It's 4 cycle instead of 2 and has a larger engine. Have yet to use it so I can't yet comment on performance. There are a few issues though.... Factory packaging was insufficient for a blower of this size and weight. While not torn or punctured, it was in below average shape when I received it. The blower has a few small dents and scrapes but they don't appear to be from the exterior of the package so they must of occurred at the factory since the box was unopened. The imperfections were minor and not worth causing a fuss over since I consider this a tool, not a car! Features are great, especially the chute adjustment slide on the handle. Poor oil fill location which others have mentioned. Started right up both electrically and manually after filling the oil and gas tank. Looking forward to putting this unit through it's paces when we get our first snow! Looking forward to the same great service I received from my old 2 cycle... I'll let you know if that holds true later this winter.
