Customer Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great snow blower works better than expected I bought one of the smaller models so that I could move it around.. I.e. On my deck, haul to a cabin ,etc. I can easily put it in my truck by myself with a ramp, or drive it through doorways to get to my deck. It is very good at cutting through compacted drifts that are 3 ft high. The chute controls seem a little flimsy but that is my only complaint. Love it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great machine; only minor issues Eager is the best word I have for this snowblower--it eats through every pile of snow I've pointed it at, including snowplow deposits! The auger/snow blowing and drive mechanisms work well, though even the lowest forward gear sometimes seems a little too fast. I am not completely satisfied with the control for the chute direction and elevation. I like that I can adjust both from behind the machine, but the direction control doesn't hit the full range without extra effort, and I often have to re-adjust the elevation control after changing direction. I wish the two controls were separate, and I think a crank would work better for the direction control. Finally, I am not (yet) a fan of tying the drive and auger controls together--I often want to stop throwing briefly while I pass a cleared sidewalk or turning around in a cleared area, and I cannot disengage the auger without losing forward momentum.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is a good replacement for my old showblower The snow blower started up easily on the first try and the machine is easy to use. The one small problem was a sharp bend in the discharge chute up-down control cable. This caused the cable to bind and the chute up down deflector did not work. I pulled the cable straight and held it with a second cable clip attached to a bolt on the drive belt cover. This fixed the problem and the chute deflector now works easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use. Lighter than my prior Toro machine, but, just as powerful and clears the same width. The Quick Stick was why I stayed with Toro. It is a great feature.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Never clogs! I really like this machine. It's a joy to use. It has lots of power for any snow condition. Controls work beautifully. Easy to manoeuvre for the most part. Blows any snow without clogging ever! It is a bit loud and I wish the wheels were bigger. (It loses traction in a few spots when I try and climb a low curb.) Canadian pricing is two hundred bucks higher than USA pricing after exchange rate is accounted for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great power and build quality Built Toro tough. Lots of power for the toughest windrows.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use Controls on this machine are easy to use. A little hard starting at times, especially if you shut it down for a minute and then try to start it again. Runs good plowing into snow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 7 Winters & still going strong I live in New England and have gone through some rough winters... one was the worst the area has had in 100 years. I take care of this machine & it's done the same for me. I have a large driveway 3 SUV's wide by 8 cars long and my Toro Power Max has not let me down. The only thing I wish Toro came with was different skids for my stone driveway - had to buy those aftermarket. I only run full synthetic in the machine and change it after 15 hours+ of use. The engine runs smooth & quiet and typically starts on the first pull. Great performance in all types and depths of snow. I'd be lost without it!
