Customer Reviews
Rated 3 out of 5 by from A couple of features really undermine product I like the mulching of this machine, and it does start regularly as promised (but I've only had it a few months). The oil dipstick is ridiculously hard to read, and the machine does seize up if there is too much oil in it. The worst thing about the machine, which is a real pain for the yards I mow, is the difficulty in pulling the machine backwards, and to be able to easily go back and forth. It wasn't disclosed prominently that there is only a certain way that the machine can be pulled backward, in the material I reviewed when purchasing (I read it in FAQs on Toro's website after I bought it). Even following those procedures, the machines wheels frequently still lock up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Starts on the first pull. Love it. Starts on the first pull. Love it. Only had it for 2 weeks and it has performed well. My only complaint is the design of oil dipstick. The yellow plastic material doesn't make it easy to see the oil level, especially with new clean oil. My previous Toro had a flat metal dipstick and it was easy to see the oil level.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Second Toro Super Recycler My first Tore Super Recycle lasted 17 years. I just purchased my second a couple of weeks ago. As expected, I am very pleased with its performance.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It starts but yet is falling apart Have owned for 3 years. Love the fact it has always started. BUT since purchase I've had the handle fall off (first season stripped bolt covered under warranty) front wheel has come off twice, rear wheel has had the rubber come off and sadly then eaten by the mower! I've had Toro everything all my life and yet this mower while it runs seems to be falling apart in stages. My old school Toro of some 15 plus years is still in the garage and ends up being my backup when this goes down. Sadly this mower makes me wonder if Toro is cheapening their quality. Purchased this mower for pacesetter feature.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from lots of potential. This is my 1st season with this mower. So I don't have a lot of hours on it yet. So far: Great cut. Even when mulching. 1 pull starting every time. Very fuel efficient. My only gripe? Sometimes it won't disengage the rear wheels when pulling backwards. Even when I'm firm about pulling the lever all the way back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light weight and easy to use I've had this model for 9 years and since than, I haven't had to rake any more leaves. This super recycler turns them into powder... And for cutting grass, it's the best I've ever had, leaves my yard looking awesome! Most people may think it's a bit pricey, but it's definitely worth every penny

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The features on this mower are poor I would not recommend this mower or buy another one The personal pace system does not work. The only way to make the mower go faster is to hold the self propel engager handle with one hand, the stationary bar with the other and push/pull back at the same time. it does not mulch but rather traps all the grass clippings in the deck.I spend 20 minutes cleaning the deck after each use and then have a serious pile of grass to clean up after. Unfortunately, I had a 20 year old push mower that mulched my yard better than this mower. I am trying to sell this mower so I can buy something else

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Mower After using the mower a few times it preforms great. Its got one little hitch that I think can be adjusted but that requires loading it up and hauling it back to the store where purchased (nuisance). When stopping and trying to pull the mower back it seems to stay in gear and not release as it should.
