Customer Reviews
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cannot give it straight A's So far it starts on the first pull. Used it three time thus far since purchase. Noticed grass accumulates onto the deck gathering around the motor when on mulching setting. Bagging setting: grass shoots around the bag attachment. Not sure about turning around (back and forth cutting), seems rear wheels do not spin freely and i am afraid of damaging drive mechanism? Not sure if I should disengage cutting lever when backing up???? Seems like the engine chugs significantly when engaging blade. Now: it cuts very well and runs efficiently and quietly (though I always wear hearing protection). Cannot give it straight A's because of these areas. B+ and content with unit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from deck rusting badly after only two years Bought this mower in May 2015 and the deck is rusting badly already. Any hints as to why?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not really satisfied with mulching feature When mulching I have noticed the clippings and leaves blow out for under the deck by the right from wheel. So then I need to go over the area again and sometimes more. Not really satisfied with the mulching part of the machine.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Weak engine Bought this mower after my 9 yr.Toro died. Can't believe Toro charges a premium for this mower over the mower with the B/S engine. There is no power with the Toro engine. It even blogs down when I use the wash out port. Leaves clippings no matter how high I set it when mulching. Have to go back over to mulch up the clippings so its like I'm cutting the lawn 2 or3 times.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great blade stop Blade stop gives your arm a rest by not having to restart for a bag change or going for a refreshment.Motor is powerful and quiet.the oil fill tube is angled to make draining the oil easier.the only negative was a small gap where the top of the bag meets the mower.it allowed clippings to gather on the top deck of the mower.i just put some foam weather stripping tape where the leak was happening and the problem was solved. otherwise a great lawnmower.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product has great features. This is the best mower I have ever owned in 26 years of owning a mower. I like the bagging and mulching options. I would recommend this mower.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very pleased with Toro I had Toro mowers for years then switched to a competitor because I had great success with the competitors snowblower. Well, that success did not translate over to the mower. This year I went back to the Toro 22" Personal Pace mower with Spin Stop and am very happy I did. As opposed to the competitors mower, this Toro is quieter, cuts evenly without leaving long strips of uncut grass, and has features that I really like. These include the Spin Stop feature which to me is huge, the ability to flip back and forth between bagging and mulching with a flick of a switch, and a port to attach your garden hose and wash out the underside of the mower. Overall, I'm very pleased with the quality of this Toro product and couldn't be happier that I made the switch back to them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My first Toro I wanted to purchase a product designed in Minnesota. Reviews rated this mower in top 10. Advertised to start within 2 pulls - normally takes 3. Self propelled speed is hard to adjust to fine settings. Mover cuts grass very well. Overall good. I expected a little better.
