Customer Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Different by design This saw is a couple of weeks old and has been used primarily to rip 2 by stock for a 5" width sunroom build. Things that continue to sell it: 1. I'm 60 and have no trouble lugging this thing around. Well placed handholds is another sign of thoughtful engineering. 2. Just like the rafter saw compared to a generic circ saw there is more umph in this than the garden variety job saw. It isn't unstoppable but it is noticeably more powerful. 3. Good blade comes with. Not good enough for interior finishes but a good blade for what I'm using it for. In the old days I would have had to buy a decent blade to replace the one that came with the saw. 4. After some tweaking it runs square. I pick it up at the end of the day and lug it to my trailer. I pull it out and set it on rough ground wherever I need it and so far it has stayed true. 5. The storage takes a little getting used to but once you get the hang of it, easy peasy. The unbox was cake and the price was more than fair from Acme. I even tried the big orange store to price match it and they couldn't. Between the price, the quality of the buld and the engineering that went into the saw I stole this thing. By the by, you may not think you want the stand. You might be wrong about that. Can't opine about service after the sale since it ain't broke.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rip 4x4's all day long Truthfully, I haven't spend a whole day rip cutting 4x4's, but I am confident this saw wouldn't mind. OOTB it was almost dead accurate and between the worm drive and the included Diablo blade, it did make very short work of the 4x4's I did feed it. The stand was far more stable than I expected (and I went into it knowing the professional reviewers said it was stable). This is my 3rd table saw and likely my last for a long while; I am very impressed with the build quality and expect many, many years of service from it. Don't forget to order lube for the worm drive ;-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great saw for the Money I have been on the hunt for a new table saw for the better part of a year. I like to take my time and research as many products as I can before I make a decision. I looked at everything in the $200-$700 price range. For me, I needed a powerful, lightweight, and easily portable/storable saw. i've got a small farm in one state and my home is in another state 6.5hrs away so portability is key if I need it on the farm. My main uses are just for things around my house and helping neighbors and friends with projects. I am in no way a professional, but I've been around power tools my whole life. NOW! ON TO THE SAW! Total setup time (including putting the legs on the stand) took about 20 minutes. Straight out of the box, the saw was totally square. It wouldn't have been surprising for it to be a bit out of alignment, but this time, no adjustment was necessary. I really like how sturdy this saw feels. Skilsaw (owned now by bosch) has done a great job with the build quality. everything has its place that can be tucked away nicely when storing in the garage. OK. The important part. How does she cut? Pretty great in my opinion. The worm drive has plenty of torque to take on just about any wood i will likely ever encounter. the first thing that went through this saw were a few piece of 1 inch thick red oak. Honestly, had I not been looking at what I was doing, there was no real audible difference when cutting verses when the blade was just spinning. This thing just cuts! So, for the DIY'er or jobsite guy who needs something powerful and portable, I highly recommend this table saw. I am totally pleased with it so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Features Works great, very powerful. Bought it to rip plywood sheets. Have not used it on plywood yet, but have no doubt it will work just fine. Diablo blade it came with is excellent & was aligned perfectly. Great saw for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good saw, slight issues Great price and delivery from Acme. Only issue is that blade height adjustment has +/- wobble of about .5 deg. This means that blade position changes slightly based on where it end up during the adjustment. Bosch asked me to return to warranty center which I did. I believe issue is with acme threaded screw which is used for elevation, it must be machined incorrectly or bent. I've read a few other comments similar on the web, possibly a manufacturing defect. The rest of the saw works well, just not the best for fine work due to this issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's that good Bought this for sheeting my garage, ripped like a champ! Have used multiple brands for previous work, figured worm drive skilsaw was the way to go. WOW, need more tools with worm drive!! Smooth, compact and easy to transport and store after use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compact, powerful, and convenient. Plenty of power in a small package. All accessories fit conveniently in the framework. Snaps solid into the stand. Noticed the blade angle gauge is 1/2 degree off. The fence adjusts great but I personally don't trust the measuring scale provided on the deck. I always measure with a precision square for total accuracy. I didn't try dust collection due to the nature of the jobsite, so I cannot comment on that. Overall, I was most impressed with the power, compact size, accessory storage, and simply the overall build for only $329.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good! I've only had it for a month and it hasn't seen a ton of heavy use, but I'm impressed so far! One design flaw that I'm sure will be remedied in the future - it has a carrying handle on one side and the tendency would be to carry it with the blade away from your leg. This allows your leg to then bang against and ultimately dislodge the mitre gauge when it's in it's storage spot. Just needs a more out-of-the-way storage area. Otherwise, all good! Do yourself a favour and go get one!
