SHIPPING CHARGESAcme Tools offers great shipping options and rates. We use FedEx/UPS/FedEx SmartPost/SpeeDee for orders less than 150 lbs and ABF/Old Dominion/FedEx Freight/Lakeville/YRC for orders above 150 lbs. Your shipping costs and options are presented during the checkout process.
Common Carrier (orders less than 150 lbs)
Our Standard Shipping is Ground Service. For approximate Ground Service delivery times, see our Ground Service Map. If you need your items more quickly, we offer some of the best expedited shipping rates in the business using FedEx 3 Day, FedEx 2 Day and FedEx Overnight, all available for most items. Pay particular attention to our attractive rates available when you choose the FedEx 3 Day shipping option. All Common Carrier shipping charges are based on your location and the shipping weight of the order and are calculated during the checkout process. We don't expect it will, but in the rare event that your order arrives damaged, please refuse the shipment and let the driver know the order is damaged. Then contact us to arrange for a replacement order.
Freight Shipments (orders 150 lbs or more)
Any item you order that weighs over 150 pounds will be shipped by one of the above freight carrier. Unlike most of our competitors, Acme Tools provides FREE Lift Gate Service and Residential Delivery. Lift Gate Service means the driver will off-load the merchandise to the ground. Once on the ground, it is your responsibility to move the freight inside. You also have the option of picking up the freight from the nearest terminal. Please arrange this with the freight carrier prior to delivery. Items over 150 lbs will ship separately from items under 150 lbs.
A signature is required upon delivery of freight shipments. Before signing the freight bill of lading, inspect the shipment for damages and shortages immediately upon delivery. It is your responsibility to verify the condition of the merchandise that you receive. In the event of a problem, contact an Acme Tools Agent at 1-877-345-ACME (2263) before signing the freight bill. A signature is required on Expedited and Freight Shipments.
We can't ship to PO Boxes, physical addresses only. At this time we do not ship to APO/FPOs, US Territories, Canada or other countries. Not all services are available for every zip code. Out of Stock Items
We pride ourselves on having one of the lowest out-of-stock rates in the industry. Occasionally we may have to backorder an item that is on your order. We will automatically ship the item to you as soon as we receive it. When an order is placed we authorize the total amount of the order but we do not charge your credit card until your order has been shipped to you.
Late Shipments: Soon after your order with acmetools.com ships you should receive an e-mail notification that includes tracking information for your shipment. We expect that you will receive your shipment within the timeframes detailed under Estimate Delivery Time. If two business days (one business day for FedEx expedited shipments) have passed beyond this timeframe please use the Contact Us form or call us at 1-877-345-ACME (2263).
Damaged Shipments (Common Carrier) In the rare event that your order arrives damaged, please let the driver know and refuse the shipment. Then please use the Contact Us form or call us at 1-877-345-ACME (2263) to arrange for a replacement order.
Damaged Shipments (Freight) A signature is required upon delivery of freight shipments. Before signing the freight bill of lading, inspect the shipment for damages and shortages. Note any damages on the bill of lading. It is your responsibility to verify the condition of the merchandise that you receive.
