Features

The RK3441K compact circular saw can essentially replace a mulcher's or professionals need for a full-size 7-1/4 In. circular saw. This saw was born to cut wood, especially 2 In. final lumber materials. This saw weighs only 5 lbs, so it is easy to transport and maneuver (especially overhead). The slim, infeed grip design provides great comfort, balance, and control. The 41/2 In. blade cuts 2X4s in a single pass and is about 50% lighter than conventional 71/4 In. circular saws. Plus, the lightweight saw's left-sided blade design provides remarkable cut-line visibility. The saw's 4-1/2 In. blade has a kerf that is less than half the thickness of larger 7-1/4 In. circular saw blades. Since this smaller, thinner blade takes much less effort and motor strain to cut through the material, the 5 Amp to 3500 rpm saw can match the performance of full-size circular saws. The saw's maximum cutting depth at 90° is 1-11/16 In. and the bevel capacity at 45° is 1-1/8 In.. the saw also features a dust extraction port and a 1-1/4 In. vacuum adapter for dust collection and a clean work environment.

Additional Features

  • Small, compact size for excellent maneuverability and portability
  • Slim-line grip design for comfort, balance, and control
  • Exceptional depth-of-cut for cutting 2 In. stock lumber
  • Small, thin blade for less tool strain, resulting in full-size circular saw cutting speed and performance

Customer Reviews
Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's a worthwhile tool to own. I don't like to review tools too early in the usage cycle since I can't really comment on durability over time since I've only owned it for a little while. I'll leave that to others who have used one for years. I think the 'bottom line' question for a lot of people is "should I buy one of those little handheld circular saws when I already have a big one". Depending on the work you're doing, the answer may be a strong yes. This tool does not replace a chop saw or a larger circular saw and nobody is suggesting that. If you need to make a lot of production cuts or you need to cut heavier material, those tools have earned their place in the lineup. Where this tool shines brightest is when you need to make a field cut in some kind of odd position that requires the smaller, one-handed design. In our case, our home was impacted by Hurricane Matthew and invited in the Atlantic Ocean for a couple hours. The result was short of a total gut rehab but it was a fairly major renovation that required a lot of retrofitting, of cutting out 'bad' material to be replaced by new, etc, all of it in weird positions. This was purchased later into the project, I wish I had purchased it earlier. It was very helpful, not to mention that as the project progressed, it became the handy grab-and-go saw for making quick cuts on all sorts of stuff, from plywood to trim. I give this 4 stars of 5 because I can't attest to its long term durability but presuming this tool holds up, it's a 5 star unit. On a home building or major renovation project, I wouldn't be without a chop saw, I wouldn't be without a full size circular saw and now that I've used this, I wouldn't be without one of these, either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this handy little tool. BEING FEMALE, i like lightweight tools but still do what i need it to do. I am NOT comfortable running a skil saw or hand saw..and they are heavy. But this little thing does the trick. used it cutting plexyglass and it was a smooth cut. Love it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nothing great about this saw I find that this is the worse saw l have ever used. The design is is awful. The button you have to hold to run the saw is so far down on the saw you need a six inch thumb, had to press it with one hand and press the trlgger with the other. Fix it so it is aways down.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A pleasantly complete package I received this saw as a gift, and am pleased with it so far. The saw is powerful and easy to use, and comes with an effective dust port adapter and cutting guide. The included blade cuts framing materials with ease. My only criticism (and why I'm not giving 5 stars) is that it is difficult to tell exactly where the blade is even using the notch/mark at the front. I suspect that with enough practice this will not be an issue, but it would be nice if it was easier to see the blade.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Back to big saw I tried the wood blade on 2x4 and light materials, It was hard to keep it straight and not bind. Then I tried a metal blade on metal roofing. Was not happy with either blade. So, I will try to use it but always keep a big saw handy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great big little saw I just love this saw. Ì work with small wood projects and this saw is perfect for my needs.having that blade on the left side is the best thing since sliced bread. I'm going to get one for my brother.
