RETURNS POLICY

How to Return an Item


We make it easy for you to request a return. Just sign inOpens in new tab using our Returns portal. Once you are in the Returns link, enter in your seven-digit order number and email address. If the order is eligible for a return, click on the item and follow the instructions provided. When using the Returns portal, some restrictions may apply.

Some items may not be eligible for return in our portal. If you receive a message in the portal that your item is not eligible, a return authorization would be required.

For a return authorization, please use the Contact Us form and one of our agents will contact you in 1-3 business days. If you are not completely satisfied with your product for any reason, we will gladly replace the item or refund your money. All returned merchandise must include the following:

  1. Original packaging (including original box, Styrofoam, bubble wrap, plastic bags, etc.)
  2. Original intact UPC barcode. Removal of the UPC code voids any possibility of the return request being honored.
  3. Original packing slip.
  4. All accessories, including cords, carrying cases, transformers, remote controls, batteries, assembly tools, etc.
  5. All manufacturer instruction manuals, warranty cards, registration information, and other documentation.
  6. Please mail all approved returns to Acme Tools at:

Defective merchandise (Must have return authorization) If you receive an item that is defective, within 30 days of the date the merchandise was shipped from the warehouse Acme Tools will exchange a defective item for a replacement item. Acme Tools will reimburse you for original ground shipping expenses. For defects after 30 days please refer to the manufacturer for warranty information.

Non-defective merchandise (Must have return authorization) If you decide to return an item that is not defective, within 30 days of the date the merchandise was shipped from the warehouse Acme Tools will provide a refund for a non-defective item. Non-defective items may be subject to a restocking fee up to 15% of the purchase price and you are responsible for all original and return shipping expenses.

Gasoline-powered items (Must have return authorization) Gasoline-powered items cannot be returned to Acme Tools once gas has been added to the machine. If gas has been added, the unit must be taken to an authorized service center for repair, which is typically covered under warranty. Consult your product manual or the manufacturer for additional warranty information.

Larger Items (Must have return authorization) some items require special shipping and handling. Some larger items may require a freight carrier or may exceed the weight limits allowed in the Returns portal.

Jet Tools, Powermatic, Edwards, and Baileigh (JPW Industries) (Must have return authorization from the manufacturer) Due to the cost involved in transporting many of these items, returns will only be approved after the customer contacts the manufacturer directly and speaks with their Technical Support Department. If they are able to resolve the issue or send replacement parts, they will do so and the item will not be approved for return. If the item is deemed to be defective and not repairable, JPW Industries will work with Acme Tools to arrange the return of the defective item. JPW Industries can be reached at 1-800-274-6848.
