Powermatic Stock Feeders
Powermatic stock feeders provide the pressure and speed you need for all sorts of projects. These versatile machines work at a range of speeds, so you can move stock as quickly as necessary for every project.
Powermatic power feeders use chains and gears to move your materials. Many of them have three-position switches that allow you to choose between forward feeds, backward feeds and the off position. This helps push high volumes of materials through Powermatic saws and other machines. The automatic movement reduces fatigue so that you can save your energy for manual tasks. These tools provide consistent pressure across the entire body of wood planks. With three or four wheels for pressure, they guide materials for constant exposure to cutter heads and sanding pads. Even levels of pressure help you get precise edges from Powermatic shapers and planers. All of these machines have replaceable wheels as well. You can quickly change out worn-out accessories for renewed performance.
These Powermatic power feeders have adjustable columns that lock into position for horizontal, vertical and angled pressure. Their adjustable positions allow these units to feed materials through machines at any angle. Like Powermatic mortisers, these stock feeders change positions without any special tools. The support columns have heavy-duty wheels with handles that spin to raise and lower positions, and many of these devices rely on sliding pins to tighten joints. One twist loosens the pins, and another locks them into place. These universal joints work in conjunction with cast-iron bodies to prevent vibrations when you turn on the motor. Powermatic has multi-speed stock feeders as well. You can swap the gears to change from high to low to high speeds in seconds.
When you need extra control over your materials, you can use Powermatic stock feeders to create consistent speeds and pressures. Find a machine to provide the grip and speed you need for any woodworking project.
