Customer Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Industry standard! I bought this motor with the Kreg router table and lift and it is awesome! With 3 1/4 hp, it is overkill for what I have used it for so far, but better to have too much power than not enough. I built a cabinet under the Kreg top which Kreg provides the plans for on their website. The cabinet encloses the motor nicely which cuts down on the noise and I attached a 4" hose connector on the back for dust collection. The motor has 5 speeds and an independent on/off switch. I plug it into the Kreg multi purpose switch that I attached to my router table, so I can easily kill the power instead of reaching into the cabinet to turn it off. If you're looking to make a lot of paneled cabinet doors or just do a lot of table routing in general, this is the motor for you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome for the router table I've had this router in my router table for several years and it is a beast. It has done everything that I have asked it to without fail. Mine came with a 1/2 inch collet and I ended up ordering the quarter inch collet so that I could use any of the bits that I have on the table. My advice would be to make sure you have both options from the start. I paired this router with a Bench Dog router lift and 27 inch wide cast iron router table that I bolted onto my table saw as well as a cheap foot switch from Harbor Freight. I absolutely love the set up and would recommend it to anyone that is looking to save some space in their shop. I think this router is perfect for a router table set up. However, if you were to use with with a fixed or plunge base you would probably find it pretty heavy for extended operations.
