Pneumatic Roofing Tools
We have a wide selection of pneumatic roofing nailers suitable for installing and replacing roof shingles. Our range includes new and factory reconditioned coil roofing nailers in both light and heavy duty models.
Pneumatic roofing nailers are powered by compressed air and generally require an operating pressure that's between 70 and 120 psi with a compressor that's large enough to recharge the cylinder quickly. Typically, each nail will use approximately 0.05 cubic feet of air and, assuming an average firing rate is 30 nails a minute. You will need at least a 2-cubic foot per minute compressor fitted with a small air reservoir for each nailer.
It's important to take into consideration the anticipated use for the nailer. High-quality roofing nailers for sale designed for continuous operation are slightly more expensive and heavier while lighter, cheaper models are ideal for smaller jobs that take less time. Another point to consider is the size and weight of the unit as a lighter unit will be much more comfortable to hold for long periods of time.
Pneumatic nailers are versatile and can be used for many kinds of construction work such as fastening siding and installing upholstery panels. Other types of nailers available include special pneumatic tools for flooring and general use, such as brad nailers, which are ideal for light cabinet assembly. For heavy duty nailing, nothing can beat the palm nailer for convenience and ease of use.
