Features

The Milwaukee® M12™ REDLITHIUM™ Battery powers every tool in the M12 series for exceptional versatility. This battery boasts 1.5 amp-hours/16 Watt-hours, to provide an exceptionally long running time for any application. The cordless tool battery is lightweight, only 0.7 pounds, which combines with the compact design of the M12 series to provide you with strain-free, easy-to-use tools. An on-board fuel gauge displays your remaining battery charge, so you know when to swap the battery to the charger, or how to prioritize your remaining work. This Milwaukee lithium battery is memory-resistant, so you can charge it even before it runs all the way down without fear of reducing its maximum capacity. Lithium batteries operate without "fading", meaning that they deliver near-peak performance until you need to charge, for greater value and overall power.

Customer Reviews
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Difficult to change It's just really hard at times to push the tabs in and get the battery out. Surprised nobody has commented on this before. I guess I'm used to other brands where the battery locking system is easier to use, but I don't expect such a common activity to be so awkward.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Is it the Battery or the charger So several months ago I sent an email in requesting help with my battery charging issues, unfortunately there has been no response. I will express my concern here and now even further issues. I purchased two new batteries today and they to be damaged as well. The charger flashes red and green with both the new and original batteries. The question I have now is it the charger or the batteries? Not impressed at all. Replaced my larger battery drill today with Makita.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Batteries are stamped!!! Receipt needed I have been using The M-12 Driver/Drill as well as the Mspect tool. I really like the size and weight, but please remember to keep your receipt. I purchased and returned three batteries to the service center. They tested bad and the date stamped on them was prior to when I pruchased the tools and batteries. There was a need to produce a receipt, that I did not find, and I was without batteries, and had to buy more. Remember to keep your receipt as sometimes these units stay on shelves and the batteries expire per the stamped date rahter than the time you register your tool(s). It was frustrating, but I still like the tools...Fool me once...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A lot of power in a little package I have been in the construction/maintenance industry for 21 years. Finally a small battery system that packs a big battery punch. Great job Milwaukee!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Short life on Li batteries I liked the driver when I got it, but had to repair one of the batteries right out of the box and now only 2 years later both batteries are dead. I used it maybe 2 or 3 dozen times. Not the life I expected from a name brand tool. My Bosch cordless lasted 8 years.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from poor battery life after having and using this tool for cabiney work I did not use it for a couple weeks when going back to use it I found the batteries were in need of charging (naturally) after several attempts at recharging charger indicated that batteries were dfective I am still wondering how that could be because last time i used it it worked fine.I am reluctant to buy newbatteries in fear that it may be the charger. If you can help I would really appreciate it. I have enjoyed using the tool and hopefully will enjoy it again soon. Thanks
