Customer Reviews
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality and good performance for the money! Overall, good drill. Found it too be slightly under powered for the drilling I used it for. I was drilling holes in 1/2" plate S.S. 304, ranging from 1/8" to 9/16" in diameter. I had to step drill all the way up to 9/16". I modified its mounting to mount to my CNC machine Z axis. I also used a variable speed control which allowed me to run the appropriate RPM for the size drill bit. Overall, good buy, just know it isn't made to bore large holes taking big chunks of steel at a time. You'll need to make sure your feeds and speeds are correct when drilling. BTW, I changed out the standard keyed chuck for a key-less chuck and it worked bitchen.
