Rated 4 out of 5 by from M18™ Jobsite Radio/Charger 2792-20: review Good Radio miss the big role-cage. Has become the household radio but still plenty of use when working and outside.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Milwaukee Radio I have been wanting this since it came out. The radio sound quality is nice, it's great that it charges a battery. I don't like the volume control, instead of a dial to smoothly change the volume it goes in steps. One step may not be loud enough and the next may be a little to much. For 200.00 + dollars I expected a little more. Also for us guys living out in the country the antenna is poor at best, radio reception is mediocre. For a Milwaukee product I expected much more. So overall it may be the worst of the bunch that I have owned which include the Bosch, Dewalt, and the Makita

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great sound, weak battery Love the super sound, actually more like a hi fi system than a tool. Only draw back is the 1.5 battery that came free with it just will not last.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great when it works I had the jobsite radio without the charger before this one. Upgraded to this model for the charger and bluetooth features. Radio worked great for about a week. Then, no sound from any function. Took radio back and it was replaced with a new one. Again worked great, for a month. Then, same issue, no sound from any function. Taking in for repair. Seems there are some issues that need to be worked out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good radio Worked as advertised for 13 months then the charger quit. Radio still good. Out of warrante cost more to fix than to buy a new charger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality The Radio is a BEAST. I purchased this radio for both my shop and for fishing up north. I wanted something that would sound good, I could connect my phone/mp3 player to, wouldn't need to bring a charger for, and would be fine out on the water or covered in sawdust. I am more than impressed. What amazes me the most is the runtime. I have had my phone charging while playing over Bluetooth for half a day and it has not brought a battery down below a half charge. I only have the compact 2.0 batteries so a full day surprised me. The sound quality is unbelieveable and so is the tuning capability. It may have been pricy but it is Milwaukee so it is a given, but it is well worth the price. My only true complaint is that I have to take my phone case off to fit it inside the sealed compartment (rubber gasket sealed by the way, a good feature) and it is a galaxy s3. It just makes it a hassle but it is something I can live with. Overall, a great buy and a even better value.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Jobsite Radio and Workspace BT Speaker I was excited to use the newest version of the jobsite radio because outside of work i use Bluetooth speakers all the time. Naturally this seemed like the right radio for me at the site. After turning it on i was very pleased with the sound it produced and the overall construction and size. All of that was only prefacing my disappointment in the Bluetooth connectivity. I could barely get a steady stream of audio while connected with my phone and radio in the same room in my job trailer. It was weird to be wireless transmitting streaming digital audio from a phone only to be taking decades back in sound by listening to what sound very similar to a skipping Discman playing my music as a walked down the street. Come on Milwaukee. We all expect better. You can do better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 2nd one no sound Huge Milwaukee guy, every cordless tool I have purchased has been fantastic until now. Liked the features of the radio, and was looking to upgrade from older model, unfortunately this has been a disappointment for me. Purchased 1st radio and used for a week, then all of a sudden, no sound. Took radio back to the store where I purchased it. They graciously exchanged it for me. Now less than 3 months later, I have the exact same issue. I was hoping for a quality product. It seems to me that there are some issues with this particular model. I would stay away from it unless the problems have been rectified.
