Customer Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy this drill! I own and operate my own pull-out shelving business and needed a right angle drill to reach the tight spots in the lower cabinets. Not having a lot of experience with right angle drills, I researched and found Milwaukee to be a serious contender to consider. I didn't want to buy a drill that failed in a year, two years or ten for that matter, so I went with this drill. Best $99 I've spent. Been using it now for almost 2 years with zero complaints or regrets. I like the variable speed, and the drill's overall design. The start button is designed so that you're not fumbling around looking for it - its right there in your palm at all times. Great design! ACME's fast delivery made the purchase a breeze. The buying experience was so positive, I placed another order for the Milwaukee 2467-20 M12 1/2 in right angle impact driver. Both drivers are my tool box Go-To's. Advice: you can't go wrong with Milwaukee OR ACME Tools. Very pleased with both.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unsure The first time I used the drill it stopped working. I will withhold judgement until I get it fixed and try it again. All of my other Milwaukee tools are performing very well, it would be very disappointing if this one doesn't.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Little Drill It's a great little drill. Plenty of power. Gets in tight spaces. Has a torque setting as well, which is great. A very versalite tool. The Milwaukee 18V family of tools is great. We're up to 8 kits in the shop with many misc tools for odd jobs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Minimal torque, weak A disappointment in terms of torque - it stalls drilling a 3/4" hole with a self-feed bit. My intended use was drilling through top plates in the eves of attics, where can't easily reach or apply much force behind the drill - making self-feed bits all but a necessity. If you're patient enough, you can drill holes up to 1" in diameter using spade bits and little force behind the drill. A 2-speed gear box with a lower speed (higher torque) setting would be a welcomed addition.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worthless I *try* to use this to drill holes in tight spaces. Unfortunately, with a measly 125 in-lbs of torque, it can barely make a 3/4" hole using a standard spade bit. Not only would I not recommend it to a friend, I wouldn't even recommend it to an enemy. Milwaukee should be embarrassed to have their name on it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from why not variable speed I definatley dont wont a drill driver not variable speed. paddle feels large, akward. I went with Milwaukee this time for tool choices in the m18 and 12volt line up but i think im going Dewalt on the right angle drill. Like the grip 2 speed trans. The clutch ill stay with mechanical seems more reliable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Well built, feels durable, low torque I just replaced my DeWalt 18V NiCd set with Milwaukee, but this appears to be weak spot in my new tool set. With only a single speed range, it's limited to 125 in-lbs of torque. My 10-year-old DeWalt right angle drill had a low speed (higher torque) setting, and maxed out at 310 in-lbs of torque. I'm baffled as to why Milwaukee didn't go a similar route. Sure, this drill has done what I needed it to do so far, but I'm worried that one day it won't be up to the task. Given my infrequent need for a right angle drill (but I do NEED one at times), I'm considering returning this and getting a Milwaukee Right Angle Attachment (49-22-8510) for use with my Hammerdrill (2604-20). This combination will give me up to 235 in-lbs of torque - still not as much as my DeWalt, but better than this drill. I know this will limit my bit options, but it may be a better choice in the end. Milwaukee - please consider a lower speed (higher torque) option in your next model.
