Features

The Milwaukee® M12™ Cordless REDLITHIUM™ Palm Nailer provides enormous value to those working without access to compressors or electrical outlets. It uses REDLITHIUM batteries for power, driving with 2.2 ft-lbs of energy and 2,700 Blows per Minute (BPM). Because the Milwaukee palm nailer does not rely on cords, it makes an excellent choice for those working in spaces with limited clearance. The tool features all-metal around the gears that protect it from bumps and impacts, and it includes an LED light that shines down on the area where you plan to work. We recommend the M12 palm nailer for its on-unit technology, too. It features REDLINK™ Intelligence, which functions like a brain inside the tool by connecting the battery, charger and tool to protect against overloads. It also displays the remaining charge with an easy-to-read gauge. The 6D-16D magnetic collet allows users to better control nails before placement, offering users the ability to complete their nailing tasks with a single-hand.

Additional Features

  • Milwaukee M12 cordless palm nailer set includes a hand strap
  • Metal gear protection ensures better durability for every situation
  • LED light offers better work surface visibility
  • REDLINK Intelligence displays charge and protects against overload
  • Magnetic surface allows for single hand usage
  • Milwaukee palm nailer includes 5-year manufacturer warranty

Customer Reviews
Rated 4 out of 5 by from M12 Palm Nailer 2458-20 This is a special situations tool. Great for pinpoint installing brackets and hangars. It excels in areas where you cannot swing a hammer, a nail gun cant be used, or have a no miss-swing situation. Takes a bit to get to use to, but you can become quick with loading nails into it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Won't drive nails I bought the battery powered palm nailer because I expected ease of use and to avoid having to run a compressor line. I was disappointed the first time I used it because it wouldn't drive 16d HDG nails. At best, it drove them perhaps an inch into 6x6 PT wood. After trying 2 or 3 nails the battery indicator displayed only 2 lights out of 4 and quickly dropped to one. It's possible I got a battery that won't hold a charge or the charger looks like it's working but isn't. Anyway, a very disappointing experience. It's quite large and unwieldy but I accepted that as a trade-off for not needing an air line. I'll take it back and buy a pneumatic powered nailer.
