Features

The Milwaukee Fluorescent Lighting Tester lets you find the source of your problem when the lights go out in seconds with 3 testing modes. The lamp tester runs on 4 simple AA batteries for quick and easy operation. With a weight of only 1.33 lbs. and soft comfort grip the tester is ergonomic for ease of use. An extendable, 2.5 ft. antenna means that you don't even need a ladder when you use the ballast tester from the floor in a standard-height room. Simply place the antenna against the bulb and activate the tester for a couple seconds; if the bulb illuminates you know that the problem is in the ballast. The pin tester checks the bulb pins and filaments in seconds and lets you know with a beep if the bulbs are functional. An LED work light lets you check the lights in the dark for added safety.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delightful! Its really fool proof and makes quick work of diagnostics and many times I don't even have to go up a ladder to find the problem saving even more time. This is something you really have to use to understand, its simply one of the best ideas for electricians, service personnel and the like. I added a video. I give this an A+ on the convenience factor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for checking bulbs I'm am a maintenance electrician for a manufacturing company, and we recently purchased this tester. It doesn't work on the older ballast or program start ballast that require two good bulbs to fire. The benefit of this tester is it makes it easy to find a bad bulb, especially when someone mixes old and new bulbs.
