Knaack Piano Boxes
KNAACK® piano boxes are the most versatile line of tool boxes and storage equipment that professionals have been using since 1960. The boxes offer several features that the company's other product lines offer individually, with the same protection that is the hallmark of Knaack construction.
Like an upright piano, these storage boxes open from the top. Units have a 16-gauge steel construction, arc-welded at all seams and powder-coated to provide corrosion protection. All of these piano storage chests have hinged, recessed side handles that can be gripped easily even with work gloves, and 4 forklift-ready skids that are pre-drilled to accept accessory casters. Most models feature the Watchman® IV locking systems, with recessed padlocks and back-facing shackles so that bolt cutters can't reach them. Storage versatility comes from the unique arrangements of specific boxes. The top of these tool boxes have either full-length shelves or a lockable steel-grid Tool Kage® to provide security on site. The main bodies have bin-type interior storage for bulk items, with some models providing a steel fold-down ramp for loading heavy items by hand truck. Some come with either 1 or 2 independently locking Junk Trunk® drawers to provide ready access to frequently used tools and parts.
Knaack piano boxes are equipable with a wide range of jobsite box accessories, including caster wheels, crane-lift brackets, and internal LED lights. All come with a Power Pass® Electrical Pass-Thru grommet that accepts a power cord for interior power.
Our line of Knaack piano storage boxes are spacious and versatile and are just one example of the innovative solutions that the company provides with its cabinets, field stations, and rolling work benches. Including the storage chests that are the standard of the family. One look at the unique storage configurations will make you consider what other Knaack storage arrangement would help you protect your valuable tools and equipment.
