The GH-1860ZX lathe with ACU-RITE 200S DRO by JET® delivers powerful performance with reliable efficiency. Designed for all turning operation requirements, this machine is precision manufactured, meeting the demands of the highest-volume shops. The Jet GH-1860ZX lathe with 2-axis features taper attachments, collet closers and additional digital readouts. A single-piece, cast-iron base absorbs vibrations, allowing for better accuracy and heavier cutting during operation. A removable gap permits 23-5/8 inch diameter work on 16 inches and 27-1/2 inches on 18 inches. The five-position automatic carriage stop boosts overall productivity. This tool features a 16-inch face plate with aesthetically pleasing chrome dials, levers and knobs, and it includes a 10-inch, three-jaw chuck; 12-inch, four-jaw chuck; follow rest; and large, user-friendly foot brake. Other features include a large, steady rest; integrated coolant system and coolant return; and full-length splash guard. More features include hardened, shaved and ground chrome molybdenum headstock gears and high-quality, ANSI class 50, wear-resistant bead wears. One ball and two tapered bearings support the 3-1/8 inch bore spindle. The machine also features a T-slotted compound slide with four-way tool post. The universal gearbox allows for inch, diametrical, metric and module pitch gears that require no gear changes and sports a tolerance test certificate.
