Customer Reviews
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Saw I used this product in the yard just to clear some undergrowth. small trees and limbs, less than 6" in diameter destroyed this saw. A simple 6" limb bound the saw, which warped the bar. during the process of repair, the chain brake melted onto the cover and blew the piston. DESTROYED the saw.... Not durable, not very user friendly, not worth your $170+ you will spend. The saw was hard to start, NO MATTER how long you ran it, let it stop, you will spend an hr getting it to re-start.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Terrible saw. I have had nothing but problems with it since day one. Do not waste your money on this one. Buy a different model and save yourself the trouble.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Saw ran 3 times The saw was always difficult to get started (30-40 pulls each time). On my 3rd use the saw smelled like burning plastic and I shut it off. Sent it in for warranty service where Husqvarna refused to warranty the parts or labor saying that it was my fault the saw burnt out and that I shouldn't have used the chain brake while the saw was running (what is the point of a chainbrake if not for it to stop the chain from running). STAY AWAY!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sharp chains = happy chainsaw user Use it commercially. The more I use it, the better it becomes for power. I modified the clutch cover plate to accept two regular nuts to fasten the bar, 16" or carlton 18''

Rated 2 out of 5 by from never again My first chainsaw of my own. Initially liked the ease of use. Because I was using the saw for scrub clean up on our acreage there were lots of times the chain touched ground and dulled. No big deal, short chains were cheap and i kept spairs on hand. Sadly, the chain tightening mechanism is dependant on a tiny piece of plastic to hold the screw in place. And it gums up with sawdust and chain oil. And if you don't keep it clean everytime you fill with fuel and oil, the build up of sawdust and oil push the screw out of alignemnt and it breaks the little piece of plastic and the chain will not stay tight.
