Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Saw, But Leaks Chain Oil I have had this saw for 9 years and have cut over 100 tree down and it has done very well. I've cut tree up to 28 inches in diameter and it never missed a beat. Even when there was oil fuel (4 months old, forgot to empty tank one year and run saw until empty) in the fuel tank it started up after several pulls. My only complaint is like several others have mentioned, when leaving the saw set it leaks chain oil. If i'm going to let the saw set for more then a week I just empty the chain oil tank. Yes its a pain, but I purchased this unit at a price I could not pass up so I'm fine with it My next saw will be a larger Husky with a large bar..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would this saw again Bought the 455 rancher from my local dealer. Thank you husqvarna for the promo dealer days. Put the saw to work the next day I was thrilled with the power of this saw and the nonexistent of no vibration. The balance of the saw was awesome . Cut about 1 cord of wood that day and I was not as tried as was using my old saw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Husky puts them all to shame. I am a 67 year old land woodlands owner and have tried every brand of chain saw made I think. Junk, junk and junk, I have pulled chords thousands of times I think on chain saws that were constant problems. Tried Husky and now own three. If they fail to start in about three pulls they are out of fuel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great saw! I cut 6-10 cords of firewood a year. Is this a professional monster? No. But for It's power/price point it's a beautiful saw. I've has zero issues with bar oil leaks and I never release pressure from the oil tank...go figure. Bottom line is if you keep true to the maintenance schedule, run non-ethanol fuel with the mix, this saw will likely outlive you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excelent saw for land clearing land I like the saw, put about 50 tanks of gas through it without missing a beat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy chain saw I purchased this saw a couple of years ago, and have had no complaints with it. I particularly like the easy pull start. I have had to purchase some extra blades, as you should expect to do, but otherwise, I love it, and it weighs about the same as my old Homelite 18" bar saw.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rancher chain saw I have a Rancher that is at least 30 years old that has saw many, many cords of fire wood. Even today it still runs strong doing a great job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No disappointments here! I cut lots of spruce, birch and tamarack firewood, and it chews through like a beaver on steroids. Bought it last fall (2015) used it until freeze up, then took it out again this spring. A couple primes, choke and four pulls. Running like a charm. I don't really care if it uses more chain oil than usual, I know its is getting lubed. And there was no pool of oil under it when I took it out this spring, so there is no leaking. Keep the chain sharp. Get one. You will not be sorry.
