Rated 1 out of 5 by from Drive Shaft Disengages The Drive Shaft moves back and forth and disengages from the attachments. Replaced it and then it happened again. Can't find a number or email to contact Husqvarna on their website any longer to replace the part.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ex Ryobi Owner My Ryobi died after less than 2 years. What would you expect from a $90 piece of equipment? Bought this yesterday night at 9:30 pm because my HOA has been on my tail about trimming my 12 foot shrubs. Felt like a boss when I when I finished the job in an hour and a half when it took 3 hours with my Ryobi. I tried to start it again after about 45 minuets after I was finished, that is when the problem started. It would start fine, then it would growl and shut down. Using the treated 10% less ethanol fuel and followed the start-up instructions but not sure why it starts then it dies? I'd love to know if I am doing something incorrect? Way better than the Ryobi, but it at least lasted more than one job. Will give it a shot, hopefully it works. Will update when necessary.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I would NOT buy this product again I purchased this weedeater less than a month ago and have used about 4 times to trim my very small yard. Every time I've attempted to use it, it quits running after only 5 or 10 minutes. It starts and restarts fine each time only to shut off again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from After using this trimmer for 2 years. I would buy it ag I've used this trimmer for 2 years now. It has plenty of power for tall grass. It starts easy. Press primer bulb 10x. Then full choke and pull starter rope. One the engine attempt to start. Which is usually with in 3 pulls, put it to half choke and pull start rop again. It really is that easy. I have used gas with ethonal in it. I've used it in it alot. I do use synthetic oix mix as I find it runs much better with synthetic oil. I use this trimmer every 5 to 7 days for up to 2 hours at a time. Only things I found I didn't care for is the weight and small fuel tank. Little heavy for smaller people and runs out through the small tank of fuel quickly. I still have not had to replace the bump feed head but it does seem to be pretty thin and beat-up now. But I consider that maintenance not a proper in build or quality. Bottom line is, I say it would be OK for professional use if it is used with good fuel and especially good oil.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Nice Trimmer with a Couple of Notes I purchased this to replace another trimmer that was 2 years old but a Piece of Dung since day one. I trim a 3/4 acre lot so I don't need something that will cut down saplings and this is it. The power is very good. It doesn't stall and has handled some heavier weeds that surprised me. It starts easy. I can't comment on the Durability because it is only 3 months old, when it is 10 years old, I'll brag. Ergonomically, the shaft could be a little longer. I'm 6'2" and have to lean a little. A couple of inches longer would have been nicer. I've considered sliding the handle back. Performance is good. The only thing that takes some getting use to is the direction of rotation. It is different that any other trimmer I've owned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product for Homeowner Trimming I purchased this trimmer based on the reviews previously published, comparing it to Stihl, Troy and other trimmers in the same class. It's reviews were better than the competition, and I have to agree. It's easy to start, powerful, and lightweight. I had to adjust the idle initially, and it's been running great ever since.
