2 In. 18 Gauge Finish Nailer

The Hitachi 2-Inch 18-Gauge Brad Nailer is ideal for professionals and DIYers looking to complete projects involving furniture, trim work and more. Its driving depth can be easy adjusted with a dial to ensure that the finished product looks neat and professional. The Hitachi pneumatic brad nailer's selective actuation switch allows you to toggle between sequential fire and bump fire modes. A reload indicator lets you know when the magazine is about to run out of nails to help prevent blank drives. The Hitachi 2-inch 18-gauge brad nailer's safety is behind the nose piece, which allows you to use the tool in small and hard to reach locations. The nose clears easily without tools so that jammed or unwanted nails can be quickly removed. Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far so good... This is my first Hitachi and thus far I love it. The only reason for some of the 4 stars is I haven't had it that long.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great for the cost. great performance Great addition to my trim carpentry tools..the only part I dislike is the mechanism that is impressed when firing.its a little flimsy has a 16th of play left, right, up. works great otherwise m

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dual-mode of firing makes it very efficient for less-precision tasks ! Great tool - I have used it to build frames for bee hives, and once I was able to determine the firing location, it was very productive in quickly applying 2 nails next to each other. It feels good in the hand, so easy to handle and aim; lightweight also. Like the marking on the magazine, when near the end of nails with bright yellow indicator is seen in window.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job that it was intended for I have used this nailer a number of times since purchase and it has always performed to my satisfaction. Since it is not used on a daily basis, I do not have an opinion on its durability and long term performance. Because of brand reputation, I do expect it to be a good value.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk tools Purchased this gun less than a year ago. I got about 2 weeks of use before it started sticking nails in the slide. Trying to free the stuck nails the slider pulled out of the end of the gun. Sent it in for a warranty fix and it was declined. Go figure! I used Hitachi guns for my company tools but this ends our association. Should have gotten another Senco!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect Addition Bought this a few months ago and have really given it a workout. I use it almost daily and have yet to have had any issues.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Excellent for the first 3 years After some years of casual use (woodworking projects, off-and-on 2x a month tops) it began to jam every few nails,.. then the 'jamb-of-death', which leaves the slider mechanism completely disabled. Oh, and this NEVER properly fit a 2" nail- always too tight to fit comfortably. I used Hitachi nails (which were inconsistent to +/- .14" throughout a pack) and tried Grex nails, Porter Cable nails, and Bostich - all to the same result

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good at first This was a great gun at first . Used as a homeowner for trim work. After about 2 years , all of a sudden the nail magazine doesn't close completely . Gets jammed about quarter of an inch from locking closed. A bit disappointed , thought it would last longer. That's why IU cannot recommend it.
