The line of Greenlee individual drill bits includes auger and spade type bits, as well as hole saw bits. The brand has two types of patented auger bits that are for drilling in wood before installing the wire. Nail-Eater® bits are sturdy, made of high-speed steel and can drill right through nails that get lost within wood. These pieces measure 7 to 18 inches and can decimate any nail that gets in the way. The D'versiBIT® bits are even longer at 54 inches, and they are also made of high-speed steel. This design is flexible enough to bend around tight spaces to allow electricians to feed it through outlet holes to drill through draw studs inside walls. D'versiBIT individual auger bits work with Greenlee installers, which are placement tools used to guide the direction of the bit. You can also attach extenders for increased reach.

When it comes to connecting wires to utility boxes, Greenlee individual drill bits can cut through the metal box to make conduit-sized holes. Step bits are available in many sizes and excel at cutting through metal fast. Two types of Greenlee hole saw individual bits are available: high-speed steel and carbide tipped. The high-speed steel bits can cut holes through plywood, ceiling tile and drywall, while the carbide-tipped bits can cut copper, aluminum and steel. With the option of Greenlee hole saws individual bits as well as step bits, D'versiBITs and Nail-Eater bits, there's an option to suit any drilling need.
