Customer Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helpful Tips I have read the reviews and may be of some help to those having issues. The issues expressed in the reviews are most likely caused by one of these three things: 1) You must first install the pin locking the legs prior to extending the riser post to the locked position. If you do not, it is almost impossible to get the locking pin in place. Sometimes it is difficult to align the (tent pole) style button to lock the riser post in place. I recommend that once you have it in place, you mark the post with a line to show the location for future. 2) When pulling Romex or MC from the dispenser, the wire should travel out the side of the dispenser for about 5 to 10ft prior to making moves up into the rafters, or down sharply to the wall cavity. This allows the wire to run out sideways and not pull the legs up into the wire. 3) Lastly, anyone who has used traditional dispensers knows that those units are difficult to pull from and you get in the habit of pulling very hard. This will not work with this dispenser. A soft even pull, not jerky and hard, will make this dispenser work very well. Hope this helps.
