Empire Levels & Level Cases
EMPIRE® Level is an industry-leading manufacturer of tools for ensuring the end products of woodworkers, metalworkers and construction-site professionals accurately adhere to blueprint specifications. The instruments include Empire measuring tools and layout and marking tools that are engineered for durability and exactness, with high-tech innovations to ensure their operational efficiency. All these tools are companions to Empire levels and level cases, one of the most advanced and versatile measuring and marking tool lines from this brand.
Empire levels consist of box, I-beam, torpedo and utility levels. Advanced models include levels with vial-surround LED lights and UV-activated brighteners for high-contrast bubble visibility, as well as digital levels that provide right-side-up readouts of degree, pitch/slope, percentage and inch/foot, however the levels are positioned. All Empire levels have proprietary vial technology in which the edge of the bubble is always highlighted.
Empire box levels feature precision-milled frames to ensure accurate edges, endcaps that are resistant to impact and grip zones for operating efficiency. They have an accuracy of .0005 inch per inch. Empire torpedo levels feature rare-earth magnetized frames and V-grooves for working with piping and conduits. Some models have vials that can indicate pitch in 1/8 and 1/4 inch for horizontal runs. Utility levels include several different models of line, surface, post and pipe and pocket levels, all with Empire Level technology and construction for precision and efficiency. Empire levels also include protective covers to maintain the accuracy of the leveling instruments as they are carried to and from the job site. The cases consist of lightweight, high-density polyethylene that is impact resistant and provides a moisture barrier to protect against corrosion.
Empire levels and level cases are part of the wide array of tools for ensuring that project work is finished exactly according to specs. Empire marking and layout tools, measuring tools and combination mark-measure tools like T-squares and framing squares complement the company's box levels, I-beam levels and torpedo and utility levels.
