Customer Reviews
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Big Boy! A nicely constructed blower w/lots of power, cage around air supply to eliminate debris, big air cleaner for combustion air, and comfortable harness. One complaint would be the blower is not highly directional as tube is 3+ inches and straight w/a choke ring at the end. Again, lots of movement, just by no means a precise tool.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost Perfect...... Almost In my opinion this Echo backpack blower is almost perfect. There are 3 things that kept me from giving this five stars. First, and most important to me at least, the gas tank needs to be larger! If all you're doing is using this a little around your house, it's fine, but for a pro a small gas tank means more stopping to refill on large jobs. Second, I owned a Stihl backpack blower for years and I liked that the throttle control and On/Off switch was on the handle. On the Echo, it's on a separate handle entirely on the left side of the blower. I didn't look closely enough at the picture to realize this. Not a deal breaker, but I prefer the Stihl design much more in this regard. Third and lastly, and least important although I think still worth mentioning, the instructions on assembly could be better. It took me a little while to figure out how everything went together. I'm a fairly smart guy, so I don't believe it was my lack of intelligence. So now that the negatives are out of the way, here are the positives. This Echo backpack blower is very nice looking. When I removed it from the box I said out loud without even thinking, wow, it was nicer than I expected. It is also very comfortable, at least for me. It may be a bit different for each guy, depending on his body type. I really like the padded shoulder straps, they are definitely more comfortable than the shoulder straps that were on my Stihl. I also think that the backing on the Echo feels more comfortable. The power seems to be there, I'd say the power of this Echo is at least on par with the power of my old Stihl blower. All in all, a good product at a reasonable price. I would probably buy another Echo at some point down the road. If Echo would move the throttle and On/Off switch to the handle like on my old Stihl, I would definitely buy another Echo!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the cold air on our backs! We own a landscape company and all of our guys love these blowers. They're way better than Stihl products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All the power I'll ever need and then some! This unit was replacing an Echo PB-4600 that was probably at least 15-20 years old. I was hesitant to do so because...well, I'm of the opinion that they just don't build things the way they used to. But Echo, once again, has proven me wrong. I have an acre with approximately 35 large oak and beech trees so when autumn rolls around, my blower gets a workout. This unit stunned me with the power it has. I've been outside after rainy days and this thing moves well as acorns and small branches...liken they're bone dry. I've joked I could knock down a full-grown adult elephant at ten yards with this thing at full throttle. Whether or not longevity is an issue is still up for debate since I've only owned this unit for a little under a month, but nothing I've seen so far would lead me to question that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cooking with gas!!!! Purchased as a gift for my Son, and he is VERY pleased with the design and performance.....he has had previous experience with Echo so I let him choose the model......when operating, hold onto your hats and anything else not nailed down. We are using the power blend as recommended, and hoping for many good years of service.....Thank you Echo!!!!! PS.... we're tossing around names such as THOR, ZEUS,etc....JAE...sorry, do not know to take pictures yet

Rated 5 out of 5 by from powerful blower I bought this a month ago it is one of my best investment I have made. I can run at idle speed most of the time which makes it efficient to run for fuel. It is a little heavy but with this much power it is not bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from There is no substitute for quality I purchased a PB-770H a week ago and Igot to use it today for the first time. In a nutshell,... This blowers awesome. Leaves and debris are no match for this truly labor saving device... My reason for purchasing an echo product was a no brainier, "quality". Every echo product I presently own are very well built, reliable and have never left me down. need I say any more!
