Customer Reviews
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Maybe people have inacurate expectations I think perhaps this product has been misrepresented or just not enough info Available for consumers to make informed purchase. Seems everyone's expectations of this product has left them disappointed instead of knowing exactly what they are getting and the performance of the product with given vacuumes. Just as with any rotory tool the motor powering it is the single most important thing as to impacting performance. When that motor is diff for every consumer I think it's very important to adress the performance to expect from the most common shop vacs. Also I think that the unit should come with 2' hose at 2-2.5" dia that consumers would attach there vac to. It would increase the velocity of air as well as making it much easier to use than 4" hose. I hope you take these suggestions and rethink marketing and design.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like it for what it was designed. I had an old wet vac in the tool closet that wasn't seeing much use, so when I spotted this attachment in the tool isle, I had to try it to test the concept. This unit works well for what it was intended -- light sanding, polishing and etching projects. It's not nearly as powerful as corded Dremel, but it works nearly as well as the battery operated unit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Vacuum vs electric vs compressed air powered Electric ( AC and DC ) Dremels have been around forever and so have air grinders at tool and die shops and air cut off saws at muffler shops for example, so why would someone go around the block to get next door with this vacuum powered approach...very low torque and HP and for dust collection ... just put your shop vac close to your current use of your AC or DC Dremel

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Product improvement idea I purchased this product without realizing that it needed a wet/dry vac hose and would not work with my home vacuums. With the number of canister/bag-less home vacs and powerful motors, holding the unit to the end of my Miele vac gave superior power and speed. An adapter to make this tool more versatile, ideal for the urban apt resident to the woodworker would open the possibilities for accessories and varying models.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Needs Work Being that I frequently use my Dremel tools to remove fairing compounds (really dusty) I was quite intrigued by this one an happily drug it home. The results were not so good. I am not sure how large of a vacuum you need to work this thing, however I had to return it as the shop vacuum I would use it with was not up to snuff. I could easily stop the head by lightly touching it to the work surface. It is possible that my bigger vacuum would do, however the idea of a 4" hose leading to a hand tool is not appealing. I would not reccomend this to someone. At least not in it's current incarnation.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from nice try Tried one for about 5 min. tool has no sustained power, bogged down using the sanding wheel when using anything but feather light pressure.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Shop Vac Powered This Item has no motor, it is "powered" buy the suction from your Shop Vac (or other vacuum). That said, it has very little working power. Where it may be OK for very lite work, much more than that and it stalls out. No matter how gentle and slow I worked that is what kept happening to me. I have not tried it in wallboard yet, I was working with wood. It may also work polishing small items. This has NOT been one of the best buys I have made. Seems more like a "Gotcha".
